What Clients Say About Reed Johnson
Real experiences from clients who worked directly with Reed
Client-Focused Injury Advocacy
Reed Johnson is a partner at Johnson Law, P.C., where he represents people injured by the negligence of others. Reed's practice focuses on helping clients navigate the pressure and uncertainty that often follow a serious crash and other injury-causing events.
Reed believes that the best legal representation starts with listening. People often come to him while they are still in pain, still receiving medical treatment, and still trying to understand what the insurance company is asking of them. Reed's role is to help clients slow the process down, understand their options, protect their health, and pursue a recovery that reflects what they have actually lost.
His approach is practical, direct, and client-focused. Whether a case is resolved through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or trial, Reed prepares with the same goal in mind: to make sure his client's story is heard and that the outcome accounts for the real impact of the collision on their life.
A Work Ethic Forged in Alaska
Reed grew up in the interior of Alaska, where long dark winters, outdoor activities, physical work, and harsh conditions shaped his sense of drive, discipline, and persistence. Before becoming an attorney, Reed worked long hours in home construction, helping build houses from the ground up. That experience taught him the value of preparation, endurance, and seeing a job through until it is done right.
He brings that same work ethic to his legal practice. Injury cases can be stressful and unfamiliar for clients, especially when they are dealing with medical care, lost time from work, vehicle damage, and insurance adjusters. Reed helps clients understand each step of the process, gather the information needed to support their claim, and make informed decisions about what is right for them.
Client-First Philosophy
Reed's philosophy is simple: people deserve clear answers, honest advice, and an advocate who is willing to do the work. Insurance companies move quickly after a crash, and injured people are often asked to give statements, sign releases, or consider settlement offers before they fully understand their injuries or legal options.
Reed helps clients avoid those early mistakes. He guides them through the claim process, helps them document treatment and losses, and works to pursue full financial recovery for the harms caused by the collision.
A major component of the client-first philosophy is making sure clients get the treatment they need to be able to move on with life. Reed believes strongly that finding the right medical team can make all the difference as a client recovers from injuries, and he uses his experience to get his clients to the right doctors.
The "Make Whole" Philosophy
"I dedicate my time and energy to advocating on behalf of those that have had a loss because of the negligence of others. I will always find time to talk and discuss how best to make you whole following a motor vehicle collision."
Experience Against the Biggest Insurance Companies
Reed has represented injured people in negotiations, arbitration, litigation, and trial-court settings. His background includes experience taking on large defense firms and insurance companies, and he understands how to build leverage by preparing each case carefully from the beginning. This includes gathering the right evidence and helping clients find the right doctors.
Education
Reed is licensed to practice in both Oregon and Washington. He earned his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
Outside the Office
When Reed is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, working on his house, and getting outdoors. He can often be found fishing, hiking, biking, or any other activity his kids can think of.
